Мърсисайдци вече доста време не са играли в най-престижния турнир на Стария континент, но сега основната цел пред отбора е да завърши в Топ 4 и да си осигури участие там догодина. В момента отборът заема именно заветното четвърто място в класирането. Карагър обаче смята, че клубът трябва да помисли за привличането на още класни играчи. "Ливърпул ще има доста проблеми в Шампионската лига. Там се получават повече контузии с повечето мачове, които се играят. За отбора е важно да се класира за този турнир, където не е играл доста отдавна. В същото време обаче клубът се нуждае от повече класа в състава си и повече футболисти на резервната скамейка, които с влизането си да могат да обърнат хода на мача", смята Карагър. п.п.
