Ливърпул се сдоби с втори нов футболист в рамките на деня, но ако идването на национала Глен Джонсън бе отдавна чакано от феновете на мърсисайдци, то името на другия новопривлечен - Аарън Кинг, едва ли им говори много. 16-годишното крило пристига от отбора на Ръшдън & Даймъндс, който се подвиза в Конфърънс, или казано по друг начин - петото ниво на футбола в страната. Трансферът на младока е поредният успех за академията на скромния клуб, успял през миналото лято да продаде двама от талантите си в елитния Портсмут.

 

"Безкрайно се радваме за Аарън. Неговият прогрес и фактът, че премина в клуб от Голямата четворка, е прекрасно доказателство за начина, по който работим, макар и да нямаме големи финансови възможности", сподели пред официалния сайт на Ръшдън & Даймъндс шефът на школата Пол Драйвър.

Дано успеят да се аклиматизират достатъчно бързо(в по-голяма сила това важи за испанчето), за да могат да почнат да взимат участие съвсем скоро и в мъжкия отбор. :)

Леко-полека без много шум,което е присъщо за Рафа,започнахме да подсилваме състава си,напук на всички специалисти и анализатори,които смятат,че в клуба няма пари за нови футболисти и едва ли не сме пред банкрут. След тези два английски трансфера,които станаха ясни днес,все по осезаемо се усеща английското влиянието на Сами Лий в отбора,видно е че испанецът,все по-сериозно започва да поглежда към английският пазар. Лично аз си мисля,че на Анфийлд ще акустират поне още двама класни играча,които да придадат необоходиматъа широчина и класа на състава,пари като че ли не липстват и съм сигурен, че лятото ще има изненади.

Jesus Fernandez Saez has signed for Liverpool

 

First we had God at LFC, now it looks like we might have Jesus also (not to imply he's the son of Fowler). According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have beaten Real Madrid & Barcelona to the signing of another highly talented kid.

 

The 16 year old attacking midfielder, is meant to be in the mould of Cesc Fabregas. That's quite a hefty tag to live up to, but it's also the norm for the media to compare any talented kid to an established star.

 

We've already got some astonishing youth players who play in midfield, so this kid is really going to have to be something special if he wants to be able to fend off competition from our other starlets.

Rushden & Diamonds Under 16 player Aaron King has completed a move to Liverpool FC for an undisclosed fee.

 

Aaron joined Rushden & Diamonds Youth Development at the age of 11, moving into the Centre of Excellence in his Under 13 year, where he has continued through to Under 16 level. After a successful trial with the Reds, Aaron begins his two-year scholarship with Liverpool on 6th July, becoming the third player in the last two seasons to move from Rushden & Diamonds Youth System to a Premiership club.

The Reds have snapped up another bright prospect, this time from France...

 

Liverpool have reportedly signed a young defender for the future in Chris Mavinga from Paris Saint-Germain.

 

According to Sky Sports, the Merseyside giants have agreed a deal for the 18-year-old and will confirm the signing shortly. A regular for the French U-18 side, Mavinga is considered to be one of the best prospects in the country.

 

Arsenal were believed the be following Mavinga's progress in the past, but it appears as though Liverpool have stolen ahead and sealed the deal.

 

Mavinga is yet to make a senior appearance for PSG, but was expected to push for a squad place in the near future.

 

Liverpool are also close to capturing Nikolaj Kohlert, the Danish youngster, with only personal terms left to be decided.

Bootle teenager James Ellison signs professional forms with Liverpool FC

 

A TEENAGER from Bootle is celebrating a “dream come true” after signing his first professional contact with Liverpool Football Club.

 

When James Ellison put pen to paper last week it was the culmination of a remarkable journey which began when he joined the Reds’ Academy at the age of eight.

 

The striker was actually offered a professional contract in December but due to age restrictions, it could not be signed until July 1.

 

The 17-year-old’s progress through the ranks has not been an easy one, though.

 

He has suffered some serious injuries to his back including fractures to part of his spine.

 

The injuries ruled him out of last season’s Youth Cup Final against Arsenal.

 

But treatment and extended periods of rest have led to his full recovery and Liverpool Football Club were happy to offer James a full professional contract.

 

Speaking this week to the Bootle Times, a thrilled James said: “It has been hard work but worth it in the end.

 

“I am a Liverpool fan anyway so this really is a dream come true for me.

 

“It really is such a buzz to be around players like Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher. I feel really privileged to play for Liverpool Football Club.

 

“There are many people I’d like to thank for their support over the years, but especially my mum and dad who have been the greatest influence on my career, and my agent.”

 

In the immediate future James is looking forward to jetting out to Tenerife with the rest of his Academy teammates for some pre-season fitness work.

 

However, his longer term goals are to hopefully get a chance at earning a place with the club’s reserves and first team.

 

James said: “I am just looking to progress my game and maybe get that chance of winning a place on the bench.”

 

Formerly a pupil at Bootle High School, James was allowed to leave a year early at 15 to concentrate on his football career.

 

However, his education continued with the school successfully liaising with the Anfield club’s Academy to ensure he gained his key qualifications.

 

In his time, James has represented Bootle Boys where he played alongside rising Everton FC starlet Jose Baxter and Sefton Boys under-15s.

 

He has also been interviewed for LFC TV and played for England against Scotland when he was 15, a match broadcast live on Sky Sports.

 

Delighted dad, John, said: “Both myself and his mum, Jane, are so proud of James’s progress with Liverpool and we were over the moon when he signed his professional deal.”

 

A prolific marksman, James certainly has football running through his veins as his three brothers also play the game.

 

His older brother, Gary, has played for several clubs, 11-year-old Johnny represents Crosby Stuart and Great Crosby Tigers while Jack, nine, plays for Litherland Tigers.

Wrexham FC sign Liverpool keeper

 

WREXHAM have agreed a deal with Premier League giants Liverpool to take goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis on loan, although the Anfield youngster is unlikely to figure in this afternoon’s friendly against Coventry City at the Racecourse.

 

Australia-born Bouzanis, 18, was a member of the Liverpool side that reached the FA Youth Cup final last season and will compete with Chris Maxwell for a place between the posts this season.

 

Wrexham manager Dean Saunders said yesterday: ”We’ve agreed with Liverpool to take goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis on loan, although we have yet to finalise the length of the deal and the figures, but the boy has agreed to come and the two clubs have given it the go-ahead.

 

”That’s ongoing so it might be a bit of a rush to get anything sorted by tomorrow, but we have two games next week and the quicker we get him in the better. There are a few things to tie up because he is eligible to play for both Australia and Greece and he has been asked to play in an international tournament so that’s another issue to sort out.”

Reserve team defender Robbie Threlfall has joined Bradford City on loan up to and including Monday, March 22.

 

The left back will go straight into new manager Peter Taylor's squad for Tuesday night's clash with League Two leaders Rochdale.

 

The Bantams are currently 18th in League Two.

 

Threlfall has also enjoyed loan spells in the past with Hereford United and Northampton Town.

Liverpool FC today confirmed the signing of England youth international Raheem Sterling from Championship side Queens Park Rangers. The attacking midfielder will join the club's Academy set-up in Kirkby.

 

Managing Director Christian Purslow said: "The success of our Academy is vital to the future progress of the club and we have made clear that we will invest in outstanding young talent.

 

"Raheem is a very exciting young English player whose progress was being closely monitored by many other leading clubs and I'm delighted he's joining us.

 

"Frank McParland and his staff have done a great job in bringing him to Liverpool."

Raheem Sterling has joined Liverpool for an undisclosed fee.

 

The QPR youth product has been a regular in the QPR Under 18s this season and has also featured in the Reserves.

 

The 15-year-old made his debut for the England U16s in November as a second-half substitute against Northern Ireland, and has gone on to make two further appearances for Kenny Swain's team.

 

QPR's Youth Development Manager Steve Gallen said: "It is obviously disappointing to lose Raheem. I know him very well, having worked closely with him for a number of years.

 

"We wanted to keep him, but Raheem was keen to play for an Academy, and Liverpool is obviously an excellent move for him, as far as that is concerned.

 

"Liverpool's bid matched our valuation of him, and we all wish him well.

 

"Raheem is a fantastic lad with a brilliant attitude. The players and staff are going to miss him around the place.

 

"I hope, and I firmly believe, that he will have a great future in the game."
