Ливърпул е успял да се справи с конкуренцията на едни от най-силните европейски клубове за 15-годишния ирландец Алекс О'Ханлън, твърди "Мирър".

 

Талантливият футболист е продукт на школата Сейнт Кевин Бойс Клуб, която е базирана в ирландската столица Дъблин, от която са тръгнали легендата на Арсенал Лиъм Брейди и Деймиън Дъф.

 

О'Ханлън е бил ухажван от доста еврограндове, сред които Реал Мадрид, Манчестър Юнайтед, Челси и Арсенал.

 

В крайна сметка обаче Кени Далглиш е успял да убеди талантливия футболист, че "Анфийлд" е най-доброто място за него. Босът на Мърсисайдци е провел разговор с родителите на футболиста и ги е убедил, че за тяхното дете ще бъде най-добре да премине в Ливърпул.

Liverpool have signed American teenager Villyan Bijev from Cal Odyssey on a three-year deal, according to a report from Californian news channel KMPH Fox 26.

 

Bijev, 18, impressed while on trial at Liverpool last week, and scored five goals in two games with the Under-18 squad, which included a hat-trick.

 

The striker hold Bulgarian citizenship through his father, Chris, and so avoided having to fulfil any work permit criteria, while Clovis North Head Coach, Chad McCarty, who worked with the youngster in his early career, confirmed the deal to the channel.

AMSTERDAM — Cal Odyssey striker Villyan Bijev has signed a five-year contract with English Premier League giants Liverpool and has been immediately loaned to Belgian champs Racing Genk, MLSsoccer.com has learned.

The 18-year-old Fresno, Calif.-raised forward holds a Bulgarian passport, but that country has yet to fully complete its European Union induction, having only joined in 2007. Bijev will be able to obtain a UK work permit with his passport next July, but for the meantime must start his pro days in the Jupiler League.

While wowing the Reds on a blind-given trial suggested by his rep, Bijev may have convinced them to offer a deal with a 45-minute friendly showing with the Under-18s against Stevenage Borough. The American bagged a hat trick, won the penalty kick for another goal and set up yet another to spark an 8-0 romp.

Bijev will join the Genk first team for training, but will likely work his way into the selection with some reserve action.

"Everybody cuts their teeth in the second team," Bijev's agent, Steve Kelly, told MLSsoccer.com on Friday. "[Liverpool] would be very surprised if he wasn't in the first team by the end of the season."

Bijev, a member of the US U-18 player pool, could hope to make his Genk debut when the U-21 side opens their season with an August 19 trip to Anderlecht.

The Reds are giving a 10 day trial to Mexico U17's striker Marco Bueno and reports in the US yesterday claimed the club had already signed US Under 18's striker Villyan Bijev. Today it is being reported Liverpool have also signed Spain U17's striker Nacho.

 

Nacho had a trial at the Academy earlier this month and now reports in the Spanish media claim Liverpool have agreed to sign the striker from Albacete for £150,000 up front with a further £350,000 in potential add-ons plus 15% of any future transfer.

Според последни информации, Ливърпул и Албасете са постигнали споразумение в понеделник, като до ден-два трябва трансферът да бъде завършен.

 

Очаква се англичаните да платят на испанския клуб скромните 150 000 паунда за обещаващия талант, но сумата може да нарасне след време. Албасете ще запази и 15% от бъдещ трансфер на Начо, който е смятан за един от най-големите таланти в школата на испанския клуб.

The youngster impressed on trial at the Academy during the summer and he has signed in from American outfit California Odyssey.

 

The players doesn't yet have a work permit so he has also completed a simultaneous loan to German side Fortuna Dusseldorf with effect from Wednesday.

Liverpool Offer Michael Zacho Second Trial

Liverpool has offered Danish teenager Michael Zacho a second trial.

 

Zacho, currently with AGF Aarhus in Denmark's top division, spent last week on trial with the club and the 14-year-old's impressive showing has earned him another trial opportunity, according to Sky Sports.

 

Not only has Zacho enjoyed his time on Merseyside, but AGF sports director Brian Steen Nielsen has also spoken glowingly of the club.

 

"It has been a great experience, not just for Michael, but also for me," Nielsen told Aarhus's official website.

 

"Liverpool have been very professional throughout, but still down to earth. It has been exciting to see how Liverpool run their academy."

Liverpool Football Club have confirmed the signing of Marc Pelosi from the DeAnza Force Club in California.

 

The midfielder was captain of the United States U17 team who participated in this year's FIFA World Cup tournament in Mexico.

 

Pelosi has featured 28 times for the U17s against other national sides, scoring eight goals.

 

Academy director Frank McParland said: "We're determined to identify the best possible talent globally and I'm delighted we've been able to to bring Marc in to the club."

Liverpool sign up MK Dons schoolboy Seyi Ojo

 

 

MK Dons teenager Seyi Ojo has joined Premier League side Liverpool for an undisclosed fee and will go straight into their academy.

 

The 14-year-old striker has won two England Under-16 caps.

 

"This is the opportunity of a lifetime for Seyi which has proved far too difficult to turn down," Dons chairman Pete Winkelman told the club website.

 

"There has been a lot of interest and speculation regarding Seyi which he has coped with admirably."

 

He added: "We are extremely proud to have Seyi in our record books as our first schoolboy to receive an international cap.

 

"Everyone at the club would like to wish Seyi the best of luck in his future and we all look forward to the day he runs out at Anfield."

 

Ojo, who has been with the Dons' academy since 2007, played for the club's under-18s aged 13, was a regular in the under-16s and has trained with the senior squad.

 

It was reported in October that Chelsea were ready to spend £1.5m to take the youngster to Stamford Bridge.

Юношеският национал на Англия Сей Оджо премина в Ливърпул от Милтън Кийнс Донс. 14-годишният халф отива на “Анфилд” след четиригодишен престой в школата на Донс.

 

Оджо има два мача за националния отбор на Англия до 16 години. Наскоро се появи информация, че Челси е успял да го спазари за 2 милиона паунда.

 

“Това е възможността на живота за Сей и неговите родители. Такава оферта не се отказва. Към него имаше засилен интерес и спекулации”, заяви президентът на МК Донс Питър Уинкелман.

 

“Ние сме доволни, че Сей Оджо влезе в историята на клуба. Той стана първият наш юноша с мач за националния отбор. Желаем му късмет и успешна кариера”, допълни Уинкелман.
